JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Officer is expected to work closely with different departments and field offices in a consultancy role, assisting managers to understand and implement HR policies and procedures. The incumbent is expected to promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization. The officer is responsible for recruiting of staff this includes providing support to hiring managers in developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting interviewing and selecting candidates. The incumbent is expected to provide various support to field office on different HR functions like conducting HR audit and provide recommendation/action plan, ensure recruitment process is properly documented and required report are submitted to the Country office on time and with quality. S/he is expected to deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures; plan, and sometimes deliver training including inductions for new staff, and analyse training needs in conjunction with training coordinator. The incumbent will also be responsible for reporting, communication, and documentation with regard to Human resources to promote information sharing and organizational learning.

Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Qualified applicants must have minimum of Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related, with 4 years of relevant work experience. Applicants should have the following qualities;

- Be able to work as part of a team
- Be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail
- Willing to work extra time
Be able to use HRIS, databases, spreadsheets, word processing and outlook
