IT Internship

Job Description

1.      Maintain computer network and ensure that database system and application & file server is operating efficiently
2.      To diagnose and solve problems with the network infrastructure
3.      To oversee the training of staff to ensure they are able to competently use computer software and hardware.
4.      To provide support in troubleshooting of computer, printer, scanner & photocopy machine problems for the College, Desta mender and all outreach locations
5.      To carry out regular backups of information and files from the server
6.      To perform routine computer hardware maintenance and prevention maintenance
7.      To manage user accounts, Microsoft exchange and e-mail accounts for the College
8.      To supervise internet connections; ensure is efficient use and the security of the information.
 

Job Requirements

Required No.  2 (One for head office & the other one for Hamlin College of Midwives)
 Location: Head Office / Hamlin College of Midwives and Desta Mender
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT and related fields
 Experience: not required
