Director of Finance - WaterAid in Ethiopia

You will be entrusted with providing, strategic leadership and taking responsibility for all finance functions within the country programme. This will be achieved by reviewing existing policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management and control of the organization’s activities, including supporting partner organizations, to operate according to Water Aid’s financial management framework. You will also assist in the capacity building of WaterAid partner organizations to undertake finance activities that resonate to WaterAid and donor requirements.

Supervision - Finance Manager and Partner Finance Monitoring Coordinator

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Salary:  ETB 28,691- ETB 43, 141, (depending on earning history) with attractive benefit Packages.

You also need to be Strategic thinker - proven ability to translate strategic plans into action, decisive with excellent judgment and needs to have excellent interpersonal skills - builds good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate ability to lead a team.

A graduate in Accounting/Finance or Business Management with minimum of 12 years

Progressive and relevant experience out of which 3 - 5 years in Senior Management Position.

And also a high level of proficiency in accounting software notably that of Sun Systems. ACCA is a plus or other related advanced qualifications.
