We are currently recruiting qualified and experienced candidate to join our ACCA team in Addis Ababa to fill the role of Office Manager.
Office Manager
With an accounting background, this exciting and challenging role will be responsible for providing and facilitating a highly efficient business support service to the ACCA Ethiopia office ensuring smooth operation of the day-to-day business of the office.
Principal Accountabilities
Finance-30%
Manage budget related to business support activities ‘and’consolidate annual budget preparation for the office.
Maintain financial recording in QuickBooks.
Prepare monthly financial reports and Cash flow forecast
Mange petty cash and cheque issuing for the office -
Work dose, with Regional and Corporate staff to ensure that all corporate’ policies on finance are compiled with
HR- 15%
Provide support to the market head in the provision of HR Administrative activities within the national office
Work closely with the Regional and Corporate staff to ensure that all corporate polices on HR are complied with
Organise team building events and staff training
Line manage business support staff
Other Business Support Activities - 55%
Ensure compliance with the global health and safety policy Identify and manage providers of business support services
Manage the levels of IT service, relationship with IT support provider ensuring delivery of required services and provision of equipment in compliance with policies
Provide logistical and event management support in all events organised by ACCA Ethiopia
Provide administrative support to the market head including support and representation in exhibitions and seminars
Person Specification
A degree qualification in Administrative Sciences or similar field of study
• A practical experience of an accounting package, ideally QuickBooks or Sage
• A solid experience working in an international organization and a good track record in the area of business support including supervisory experience
• A good command of spoken and written English
• Knowledge of IT applications and management processes (month end, reconciliations, budgetary control and variance analysis)
• Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills are a must have
