Position: Operations Manager
Number: 1 (one)
Duty Station: Addis Ababa with 50% of the time traveling to Gog and Abobo Woredas of Gambella Regional State.
Qualification: BA in Logistics and Supplies Chain Management or Purchasing and Supplies Management
Experience: A minimum of two years in operations management, including staff management
Overseeing a large operations department utilizing operational systems, preferably in health or humanitarian response, with strong delegation skills and the ability to train, support, and oversee staff.
Experience with procurement systems, ordering systems, stock management systems, and vehicle management systems and documentation procedures
Experience evaluating current operational systems for strengths and weaknesses
Experience developing and implementing new operational systems and training staff and working with staff to ensure systems are consistently and accurately utilized at all times, including to address urgent needs and during high-volume periods
Additional Requirements:
• Strong teamwork skills
• Recommendation letter from the most recent employer
• Able to present release letter from current employer in two weeks after job offer
• Basic computer skills, in Microsoft-office
Terms of Employment: One year contract with a possibility of extension.
Salary: Based on the organization’s salary scale
