Position:  Country Representative
Reports to:  HQ  
Duty station: Addis Ababa

Summary:
The Country Representative is responsible to follow- up IRD relation with Charities and Society (CSA).

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Represent IRD and IRD’s representative office to government officials in Ethiopia
• Open and close bank accounts of IRD and IRD’S representative office in Ethiopia and be a signatory on back accounts at the disposal of IRD and IRD’S representative office in Ethiopia
• Ensure Yearly report (activity report and Audit report) are submitted to CSA on time
• Sign various labor, legal and technical agreements on behalf of IRD and IRD’s representative in Ethiopia
• Approve the hiring and dismissal of IRD employees in Ethiopia in accordance with Ethiopian labor law, only with the full consent of IRD headquarters
•  Exercise other activities in accordance with Ethiopia law

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree Management or related degree. 
• 10 years of professional experience,.
• Knowledge of Ethiopian labor Law, function of CSA.
• Excellent English language writing and oral communications skills are required.

 
Travel Requirements:

• More than 25%
