Associate, HR Administration - ECX

Associate, HR Administration
 
With duty station in Addis Ababa-Head office and reporting to Manager, HR Administration, you will be responsible to:
 
JOB PURPOSE
Carry out tasks that are directly related with all HR Units where his/her input enables the Specialist or the Manger to complete HR activities. This includes proper handling of records, data verification and updating, preparing letters and reports, and facilitating interviews.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handles  employee contract renewal and related HR processes;
  • Provides administrative support in handling variety of HR admin issues such as processing placements, promotions, transfers, resignations, grievance and disciplinary issues;
  • Manages staff benefit administration work and statutory requirements including managing staff medical fund/scheme, leave management, insurance coverage, contract renewals, pension scheme and education cost sharing;
  • Assists in policy orientation programs to staff to ensure maximum compliance to HR policies and related company laws and regulations;
  • Participates and supports during compensation and benefits, staff opinion survey, data analysis and HR policy and strategy revision processes ;
  • Plays active role in facilitating various employee engagement programs;
  • Ensures that effective and updated employee staff file management is maintained;
  • Liaises with and  supports the Regional Office in various HR admin issues;
  • Supports in employee recruitment, induction, performance monitoring, and learning and development management programs and processes;
  • Participates in the annual and strategic plan and budgeting processes for HR Programs;
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor. 


Job Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • BA Degree in Business Management, Accounting or related fields;
  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources Management;
  • Knowledge of HR database administration;
  • Knowledge on HR Administration and payroll activities;
  • Solid understanding on HR Management concepts, current practices and the Labor Law.
