Human Resource Manager - Quadrant Investment Pvt Ltd. Co

Job Description

Quadrant Investment Pvt Ltd. Co. is a company skillfully engaged in providing specialized logistics solution for its esteemed clients from various industrial and service Sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize and coordinate the overall human resources functions of the organization;
  • Develop, update and ensure the  implementation of the organization’s HR policies, systems, and procedures;
  • Ensure the existence and implementation of human resources policies; reformulate, adapt and ensure application of HR procedures to fulfill the requirements established by the Ethiopian government law;
  • Ensure that organization’s activity in Ethiopia on the area of HR follows the organization values, principles and procedures;
  • Ensure that annual performance appraisal of staff in the organization is being carried out; 
  • Develop compensation and benefit packages;
  • Resolve human resource problems such as work related disputes & conflict;  
  • Work on security policy development, adaptation and implementation;
  • Suggest policies to recruit and retain employees.

  • Updating and reporting daily POB.
  • Perform other duties as required by the office.
  • Ability to prepare HR & Administration annual budgets and to carry out monthly financial monitoring.
  • keep the database on staff  updated including leaves loans and HR statistics;
  • Prepare monthly Payroll/Adjust perdiem formula; 
  • Transmit the filled database monthly to the senior Hr Administrator;
  • Insure to induct new employees of administrative issues and human resources; Participate in training new QI’s staffs about QI Procedures and history;
  • Follow-up the staff’s leaves: annual leaves, sick leaves... And ensure to keep track record of written record and send monthly, yearly, quarterly report; 
  • Set up a follow-up process for equipment on loan; monitor salary advances, loans, and Bonus payments etc;
  • Keep a staff list and list of end-of-contract dates for the base’s employees.
  • Register new employees and their legal successors; Prepare and make monthly contribution payments; 
  • Prepare reports on accidents at work and take the necessary measures in case of death or to end a contract; ensure contacts with local partners (insurance, social security, pension fund);
  • Vacancy announcement Write job offers; Ensure contacts with local employment organizations (employment office, etc.) and organize the recruitment process in co-operation with the job-seeker: schedule appointments, tests, replies.
  • Coordinate the submission and follow up of staff’s medical reimbursement claim to HR & Admin in Addis Ababa and keep record of the same.

Job Requirements

Educational qualification: MA Degree or Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration or relevant field including Development, Management.

Experience: 7 to 8 years out of which 4 years is in Human Resource Managerial position.
Able to be available in short notice.

Required skills:     
  • Computer literacy (Word Processing, Power Point, Spreadsheet, Access) skills are essential;
  • Ability to work under pressure, priorities and commitment to meet deadlines;
  • Very good written and spoken English, Amharic
  • Very good typing skill both in English and Amharic languages
