Position: Sourcing Specialist
 
Continuous management of a category or group of categories, including, but not limited to:

• Supply market analyses (e.g. identification of potential suppliers, capturing of market trends and pricing development)
• Supplier interaction (collection of offers, preparation and (partly) execution of negotiations, preparation of contracts)
• Order execution (placing of orders, initiation of required administrative work, follow-up)
• Following of end-market trends and requirements
• Close collaboration with related functions, e.g. supply chain

 
Quali­fication:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of economics/business administration or engineering
• 2-5 years of professional work experience in the procurement area, preferably in a FMCG context
• Good knowledge of procurement processes for domestic and imported products, incl. customs & other admin. requirements
• Strong analytical thinking, decent negotiations skills
• Self-motivated working style with highest level of professionalism, diligence and dedication
• Native speaker in Amharic and fluent in English
