Finance Manger - Habesha Breweries S.C

Job Purpose: 
The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and transparent management programme finances in line with recognized accounting/auditing standards. And also efficiently monitor project cost aligned with set out budget and plans.

Main Accountability

• collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements;
• undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
• producing long-term business plans
• Ensure the development and maintenance of high quality timely reports and meet deadlines for financial reporting;
• Lead the finance team, setting high personal and professional standards, exercising effective leadership and control, with sound communication, objective setting, appraisal and the identification of staff training and development needs
• controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
• developing and managing financial systems/models
• Continuously evaluate and improve the Company’s financial performance including efficient and effective treasury management.
• Liaise closely with colleagues at all levels throughout the Company to ensure that commercial priorities, financial targets and disciplines are both well understood and adhered to
• Maintain day-to-day financial control of the service within budget heads
• Advise on the proper allocation of resources and monitor project cost control

Job Requirements

PERSON SPECIFICATION 
 Essential requirements:

• A bachelor degree (Accounting / Finance or Business Administration) or compensating relevant

work experience.

• A recognized accounting qualification in  ACCA is an advantage
• At least 5 years’ experience in financial management/administration within an busy business activity
• Experience of computerized accounting software
• Experience of developing and improving financial systems in a way that is appropriate for the specific  programmes in place
• Experience of management reporting to colleagues, including overseas colleague and offices
