The mission of MCM (MyungSung Christian Medical Center) is to show the love of Jesus Christ by providing advanced medical services to the people in Ethiopia who can't get proper medical services, by collaborating with International organizations, evangelistic churches, and other mission organizations throughout the world. And it also is our wish and desire to help Ethiopians accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, and to gain eternal life.

MYUNGSUNG CHRISTIAN MEDICAL CENTER
Job Announcement
We are looking for a professional Education and Training Coordinator to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of training events and special projects at Myungsung Christian Medical Center (MCM). You will manage, design, develop, coordinate and conduct large or small scale training programs.
Responsibilities:
• Map out training plans, design and develop training programs (outsourced or in-house)
• Choose appropriate training methods per case (professional development classes, mentoring, on the job training, simulations etc)
• Market available training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information
• Conduct organization (MCM) wide needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
• Use accepted education principles and track new training methods and techniques
• Design and prepare educational aids and materials
• Assess Instructional effectiveness and summarize evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPIs
• Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design
• Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
• Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
• Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
Requirements:
• Work requires a minimum of five years experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of health related education, training and/or development programs, OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• MPH with 2-3 years of experience in coordinating multiple Health Professionals training events OR
• BA degree in Education Planning and Training + 5 Years of experience in coordinating - multiple Health Professionals training events
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with traditional and modem training methods and techniques
• Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
• MS Office proficiency and adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
• Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Place of work: Myungsung Christian Medical Center (Korean Hospital at GerJi)
• Condition of employment: permanent for all positions
• Salary: Negotiable
