Senior Relationship Manager - ECOBANK Representative Office

Position: Senior Relationship Manager
REPORTS TO: Country Representative — ECOBANK Representative Office (A Member of the ECOBANK Pan African Banking Group)
Duties and Accountabilities:
• Marketing and facilitating of comprehensive customer solutions including corporate credit, trade finance, Investment Banking, Transactional Services, payment instruments etc. to corporate clients.
• Responsible for customer’s service quality delivery in the business and will develop key initiatives to build an excellent customer Experience;
• Responsible for market intelligence for the organization and will be required to submit periodic reports;
• Develops annual marketing plan in conjunction with other business units in the department, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting organizational objectives;
Relationships and roles (Internal and External cooperation):
• Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with other colleagues
• Build trust , value others , communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation focus on the CUSTOMER, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity;
• Good knowledge of the economic landscape in Ethiopia and Internationally;
• Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet the organization’s core values;
• Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments;
Selection Criteria:
• Degree in one or more of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Economics and/or statistics. An MBA Degree would be an Added advantage.
• At least 6 years of experience in a busy financial institution preferably in a Corporate
• Banking/ International Banking / Trade Finance function.
• Good knowledge of the economic landscape in Ethiopia and internationally;
• Mandatory English language proficiency;
• Strong computer, writing, analytical and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational and communications skills;
• Strong understanding of Corporate Banking customers and market dynamics and requirements. Good understanding of corporate banking Product structuring and Trade Finance
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a team environment.
