Rooms-2-Let (part of GIC Group) is looking for a
qualified professional to lead the company’s expansion in Ethiopia. Rooms-2-Let is one of the most popular online
directories of accommodation in Greece with an unparalleled database of more
than 12,000 properties across the country. We are helping tourists plan their
holidays by providing access to accommodation, restaurants, car rentals and
local tips.
Job purpose:
To plan and carry out expansion in Ethiopia,
assemble the local team and monitor all needed
operations for setting up the local tourism startup. To provide insights to the
local market and ensure the smooth implementation of company’s know-how to the Ethiopian startup.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
· Market & Competitive Analysis
· Business Development & Project Management
· HR activities: Recruiting, training and managing
local team
· Development and implementation monitoring of the
Marketing Plan x Key partnerships management & Relationship
management x Financial budgeting and
control of local startup
· Revenue streams definition and development
· Corporate identity definition and marketing (including viral) x Reporting directly to Group CEO
Qualifications
· Exceptional Academic Achievements
· Business Academic Background
· Proven record in business development
· Innovative Thinking
· Proven analytical skills
· Constructive, practical problem solving attitude
· Ability to lead a team
· Excellent command of English and Amharic language
/ other local languages and Arabic a strong plus
· Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
· Previous Working Experience in a start-up of
Tourism Industry will be considered an asset
· Genuine Interest in Ethiopia’s Tourism Industry and
On-Line Business
