Account Manager - ZTE


ZTE (H.K) Limited Ethiopian Branch is inviting qualified applicants for the following required qualification, experience and skill:

Position: Account manager
Job Summary:
The Account Manager maintain the company’s existing relationships with a client or group of clients, look after the interest of the customer as opposed to everybody else in a telecommunications company who looks after sales and operations, Communicates with clients’ current and forthcoming corporate programs that clients will benefit from, foster high rapport between the company and the corporate client and provide periodic performance report on customer retention profile. Maintain and improve the image and identity of the company or client and also help to clarify the organization’s point of view to their main constituency. They observe social, economic, and political trends that might ultimately affect the firm, and they make recommendations to enhance the firm’s image on the basis of those trends.
To be successful in this role, you have:
• experience and a track record of establishing and maintaining an Account Management System;
• experience in baseline assessments, monitoring, permitting, and working collaboratively with organs to complete projects successfully;
• Analyzes relevant consumer research and understand Brand consumer needs, habits and practices. Fully understand market changes and consumer purchase data; Develops Brand building ideas;
• excellent reporting, writing, communication and leadership qualities;
• strong project management, problem solving ability and prioritization qualities;
• supervision experience and aptitude for employees under her/his supervision;
• Monitors agency performance and helps build strong agency relations resulting in faster and higher quality results;
• Co-operates with Sales Department on alignment of sales promotions, distribution objectives, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL
• Bachelor degree in marketing/business management and related
• A few years experience in customer management field in a service oriented industry is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience, related to the job responsibilities.
Training and skill required:
• Quick learning ability to have a firm grasp of the telecommunications technologies being marketed for corporate accounts;
• Must have excellent interpersonal, negotiation and diplomatic skills dealing with customers in various levels of the organization;
• Excellent ability working in a team environment;
• Ability to explain technical information in a simple and effective manner;
• Good problem solving skills with the ability to work effectively alone and amongst a broad set of technical and non-technical team members;
• Highly motivated and team-oriented;
• Must have patience and perseverance to work under pressure; and
• Must have excellent management and organizing skills.
• Fluent Amharic and English (speaking and writing) skills;
• MS Office skills;
• Good communication and organizational skills, proactive, very positive person;
• Strong Planning Capabilities and Activity Planning Ability;
Place of work: Addis Ababa head office
Salary: Competitive Salary and benefits based on experience.
