ICT Support and Development Manager - ETE
The Ethiopian Trading Enterprise (ETE) has been established by the government of Ethiopia in the beginning of 2013 as Ethiopia's first cash&carry wholesale enterprise to provide high quality consumer goods at stable affordable prices to small retailers and food service businesses.

ETE is managed as private company based on international best practices with a value proposition based on good prices, a one-stop-shop assortment, high availability, strong customer relationships and close proximity to customers.

ETE's first stores in Addis Ababa are currently under construction and will open in January 2014. Further stores in >25 towns in the main population centers of Ethiopia are planned to be opened within 2 years. ETE is expected to become the leading player in the fast growing Ethiopian consumer goods market in the near future.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
o   Responsible for the provision of ICT infrastructure services including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, business applications development and implementation of new systems and processes centered on ITIL service delivery frameworks.
o   Manage the ICT Support and Development operations including 1st, 2nd and 3rd line help desk support structure to ensure maximum availability of computer systems throughout ETE
o   Manages incidents, problems and root cause analysis of ERP systems, enterprise applications, LAN/WAN networks, ICT security and telecommunications.
o   In consultation with the Director of ICT, propose, agree and deliver ICT infrastructure applications and services to defined Service Level Agreements (SLA).
o   Provide staff training and capacity building to both internal and external stakeholders where required and appropriate.

    Qualifications
o    Bachelors degree or above in Computing or Information Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience.  
o   Applicants holding professional certifications like Microsoft MCSA/MCSE/MCSD and ITIL or equivalent would be an added advantage.
o   Proven experience of managing ICT support function within a large local or multinational company.
o   Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment to drive results.
o   Fluent in Amharic and English
